Spellings
This academic year we are using a new spelling scheme called 'The Spelling Shed'.
Whereas in previous years we have followed a more traditional spelling scheme that provides word lists and relies on weekly testing, The 'Spelling Shed' focuses more on the teaching of spelling so that children understand how to apply patterns, strategies and knowledge to all words.
We suggest 5-10 words a week which could be practised. Alternatively, the following website provides means to practise the same spellings: https://spellingframe.co.uk/
