St. Helens 2-1 St. Michael’s
Our girls play fantastically well in a very close encounter with St. Helens.
St. Helens proved to be a very strong team but our girls stood up to the challenge, which ended in such a narrow defeat.
Mia Wise got on the scoresheet with a fantastic strike, after a low cross in, from Bonnie Benden-Morgan.
The girls thoroughly enjoyed the game and you can all be very proud!
Thank you as ever to the parent helpers who drove to and from the game.
Our next game is against Olveston Primary School, next Thursday.

Elm Park 1-5 St. Michael’s (13th February 2019)
The girls put on a fantastic performance for their first game of the season.
The goals came from Charlotte Smith, Lily Clench and a very impressive hat-trick from debutant Bonnie Benden-Morgan!
A great team effort and you can all be very proud of yourselves girls.
St. Michael's 5-1 Shield Road (20th September)
Well done to our girls football team, who won 5-1 at Shield Road today. The girls played fantastically well and were a credit to the school. Two goals from Grace Williams and three from Katie McMichael got the girls off to a flying start to the season. Well done girls!
South Gloucestershire football tournament (5th October)
Our girls' football team had a lovely afternoon at the South Gloucestershire football tournament today. Well done girls!
St. Michael's 11-0 Bowsland Green (10th October)
Well done again, to our girls football team, who won 11-0 in the first round of the cup against Bowsland Green. A fantastic 9 goals from Katie McMichael, 1 from Mea McCarthy and 1 from Phoebe Westlake saw the girls go confidently into the next round of the cup. A brilliant performance from the whole team, well done!
St. Michael's 0-3 Hambrook (16th October)
With Year 6 on camp, it was over to our Year 5 girls (and one from Year 4!) to take the reigns of the football team, and what a FANTASTIC job they did! The girls lost 3-0 away to Hambrook Primary School. However the game was a lot closer than the score suggests! The girls played brilliantly, and it is fantastic to see so many girls across the school participating in football and representing the school team. Well done girls, you should be very proud of yourselves!

St Michael's 5-1 Hambrook (13th November)
Well done to our Girls' football team who won 5-1 in the league today, against Hambrook. Both teams put on a great performance which was a fantastic advert for Girls' football. Our goals came from Chloe Gould, Mea McCarthy (2) and Katie McMichael (2). Well done all!
St. Michael's 8-1 Elm Park (29th November)
Well done to our girls' football team, who won 8-1 this evening against Elm Park Primary School. A fantastic performance from ALL of our girls. They have really gone from strength to strength this season and more importantly really enjoyed playing football!Our goalscorers were; Katie McMichael (6), Mea McCarthy and Grace Williams. Well done girls, I am very proud of you!
St. Michael's Girls 2-2 Mangotsfield Primary (4th December)
A great end to the league season (game against Elm Park onFriday has been cancelled) for our girls. Mangotsfield proved to bevery tough opponents, however the girls really gave it their all tocome away with a well deserved point! Goals came from PhoebeWestlake and Grace Williams. Player of the match: Chloe Inker.
A fantastic league season girls, and we look forward to a newleague season, starting after Christmas.
