Christmas Showcase 2020

Welcome to our Christmas Showcase page. As we cannot gather together to celebrate Christmas through our usual concerts and shows, we hope that you will enjoy the many performances on this page. The children have enjoyed working on a variety of projects, both collaborative and solo.

Since 1/2 term we have all enjoyed working towards our Whole School Christmas Film, where we have enjoyed singing and dancing to some of our favourite Christmas songs on the playground in our year group bubbles. Thank you Rob Kay for filming our performances and putting them together with readings and other delights so that we can share the joy of Christmas with our families at home. Our school staff band and some of our children enjoyed putting together own our version of 'All I want for Christmas is you'. All parts were recorded individually (mostly in homes) and thanks to Mrs Williamson's technical skills, she mixed the parts together electronically. Mr Symmons did an amazing job of creating the photo montage of our families that accompanies the song. We hope you enjoy watching this film. We certainly enjoyed making it for everyone. Many of our instrumentalists have recorded their performances at home and sent them in to be part of this Christmas Showcase. A big thank you to those children! Your musical treats will certainly put us all in the Christmas spirit.
