Pupil Leadership

We want to prepare children for successful futures. With that in mind, our older children have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills. Children learn about what makes a good leader, CVs, job specifications and applying for jobs. The children apply for the leadership role of their choice from Keystage 1 Leader, Lunchtime Playground Buddy, Enterprise Leader, Digital Leader and Sports Leader.

View our job specifications here: Job specifications for leadership roles.docx

We enjoy our leadership roles and complete them reliably and responsibily.

Here we are supporting and working with the younger children in school.

As Sports Leaders, we plan and lead warm-up activities and skills activities both for our peers and for the other children in school.

Our Enterprise Leaders have learnt about business through their Dragons' Den project and have applied their skills to raising money for the Year 6 Yearbook.

Here are our Enterprise Leaders fundraising for the yearbook. We ran stalls at the Summer Fair, organised a book sale and sold refreshments on Sports Day.

Children who successfully and consistently demonstrate leadership skills are recognised by achieving a Leadership award. Look out for these leaders wearing their badges around school.
